As a partner of Starlight Canada’s for over 7 years, we know that the holidays are always a bit brighter for kids and teens in need of a pick-me-up with the Ardene Foundation.
When you get your gifts at Ardene this holiday season, you’ll be bringing smiles to both your loved ones and seriously ill children. Until January 2nd, 2022, Ardene is collecting $1 donations for Starlight Canada in-store and online at ardene.com. While many immunocompromised kids and teens – like 12-year-old Hartley who lives with intestinal failure – are still isolated at home or in-hospital, a $1 donation at checkout from you is an easy way to make the most of the season of giving.
All donations collected during the campaign will help send toy shipments and place Starlight Nintendo Switch Handhelds in hospitals across the country!
Our latest addition to our in-hospital programs, Starlight Nintendo Switch Handhelds are innovative, portable devices to make gaming easy for paediatric patients. Whether a child or teen is recovering in post-op, anxiously awaiting treatment, or is bored in their hospital bed, the Starlight Nintendo Switch Handheld comes pre-loaded with more than 25 games to provide endless hours of entertainment.
Adding to their impact in-hospital, 9 Starlight Fun Centers sponsored by the Ardene Foundation have also recently been placed in pediatric units across Canada just in time for the holidays!
