Trick or Suite is Starlight Children’s Foundation® Canada’s signature Halloween event that provides joy and relief to seriously ill children across Canada. By offering a safe and enjoyable environment for children of all ages and abilities to celebrate Halloween at a hotel, Trick or Suite creates lasting memories and positive experiences during challenging times.
Designed for inclusivity and accessibility, Trick or Suite welcomes children with varying health conditions and physical abilities, making sure that every child can partake in the joy of trick-or-treating without exclusion! Each hotel room is decorated with a different theme to not only create a fun and immersive experience, but also serve as a distraction from medical challenges, offering a brief escape into a world of imagination and creativity! The excitement of trick-or-treating in a safe and wheel-chair friendly environment – filled with spooky surprises and fun activities – helps to uplift spirits and strengthen family bonds.
Trick or Suite is not just an event; it’s a therapeutic Halloween experience that contributes to the emotional well-being of these children and their families. It offers a much-needed break from the stress of medical treatments and hospital visits, fostering a sense of happiness and hope that can have a lasting impact on their mental health.
