Today, we are honoured to introduce you to Sarah.

Sarah was diagnosed with leukemia when she was just 3 years old. Now 11 years of age, Sarah has fought this battle her whole life. With another relapse this summer, Sarah’s currently preparing for her second bone marrow transplant as she battles cancer for the fourth time. The worst part of her illness, in her own words, is “being away from school and my friends and feeling sick all of the time.”

Sarah is supporting 12 Kids of Starlight this year with the aim to raise $2,500, as she battles cancer for the fourth time in her young life. Will you support her?

While we are sharing her story with her and her family’s support, Sarah’s story is tragically far from unique. It is children like her we work for every day. It’s for children like her who your donations directly support, during times of the year which should be joyful, but are clouded by treatments, appointments and the real possibility of being stuck in hospital.
